Lots of layers at WhoopsiDaisy

Good morning my sweet friends!

Today we are having new challenge over at WhoopsiDaisy. We want to see lots of layers.

For my card i have used an image from sheet 367, which is available here. Isn`t she totally adorable. I just completely fell in love with this cutie!

The colours i have used are:

Skin:
Vanilla, Saffron, Oatmeal, Tan, Sunkissed pink

Hair:
Mustard, Pastel yellow, Buttercup

Dress:
Plum, Lavender, Lilac, Soft mauve (FM)

Other colours:

I also put on a strain of pearls, randomly plased. I didn`t want the completely round look of it. Also used a double looped bow with a little flower on top and a sweet little butterfly charm. The papers are from Bearly Mine Designs and Pion Design. The sweet little sentiment is a freebie from Kristin Langnes.

Thanks for taking a peek at my creation for the day. Hope you enjoyed it. Hope to see you back here  soon. Also don`t forget to visit the WhoopsiDaisy Challenge blog to see what the other girls have created. I`m sure you won`t be disapointed. Have a great day everyone!

Use up your stash. New challenge at WhoopsiDaisy

Hey everyone!

I`m sorry i`m so late posting this. I had scheduled this post but something went wrong for some odd reason. So i had to write a little addition to explain this to you. And since i was on the road all day yesterday i didn`t have the chance to fix it untill now.

For my card today over at WhoopsiDaisy, i have used an image from sheet #348. I think this one is totally adorable! I just loooove it! For my scraps i have used the reverse of a die cut frame i cut out a while back. That is also why i haven`t used any design papers.... i don`t have any frame that is larger than this, lol. I have also used the pearl ribbon which is a scrap piece from my wedding embellishments, lol. And also the ribbon was the last piece i had of this colour. I was hoping i would have enough to make a bow as well, but it looked a bit weird so i dropped it, lol.

I have embellished the card with one of the new die cuts from Marianne Design and also i got some new flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts that i thought fit perfectly to this card. So all in all it became a cute girly baby card.

The colours i have used:

Skin:
Vanilla, Saffron, Oatmeal, Tan, Sunkissed pink

Hair:
Slate, Walnut, Terracotta, Spice, Honeycomb

Dress:
Purple, Sorbet, Pink carnation

The flowers i have used are lilie`s, a carnation and a tulip. I have also used a doohickey die from Magnolia to complement the flower spray. So now... if you have a lot scraps you don`t know what to do with, this is the perfect challenge for you. So make sure you hop on over to WhoopsiDaisy challenges and challenge yourself.

Challenges entered:

Lia Stampz - Anything goes

Today we are having a new challenge over at Marianne`s Design Divas. We are also celebrating one year of challenges! Where has the time gone? I think i must be having too much fun course this year has just flown by. I think it`s just recently i started on this amazing team.

Would you like to try out for this team?
Well now is the chance. Amy is looking to add to the team, so if you love playing with Marianne Design goodies you should hop on over to the challenge blog to read more.

Our sponsors this month is

Over to my second creation for the day. A while back i got this boring white painted star. It probabely is something used as a Christmas decoration but i have altered it to fit my own needs, lol. I love shabby chic and i have tried to embellish the star in a shabby style. Hopefully i made it work. I went a bit overboard with the pics, lol, so please bare with me.

This is a resin frame by Melissa Frances i believe. If i`m wrong please correct me, lol. I have cut out a little piece of a design paper to use as a picture in the frame.

Here i have used some of these small and cute silk flowers from Marianne D. They are available in several colours. I have used the blue and pink ones. Available here and here.

I have also used some flower ribbon with small roses which i cut in pieces. These are perfect for any cardmaker to use.  This Marianne D trim is also available at Cuddly Buddly. The butterfly is an embellishment left over from my wedding.

The blue flower is from Prima.

Here is another resin piece. I think it is so beautiful.

I have also used the Moroccan bird cage, available here, and butterflie #3 available here.

That`s it for today...i won`t risk you getting bored with me, lol, so i`m going to stop now. Ok, i know...you are bored allready so why don`t you just hop on over to The design divas blog and see what the others have been up to. Thanks for sticking out with me, lol.

Challenge #92 Stitching (Real or Faux)

Good morning everyone!

Today we are ready with a new challenge over at Crafts and Me. And it is our fabulously talented Coops` first time to host one of our challenges. She loves stitching in any type or way, so that is what this challenge will be all about.

Stitching is not a big fav of mine, so i have cheated a bit, lol. Don`t tell the others, lol. I have used a pre-stitched ribbon on my creation as i don`t have anything to sew with and i am not so fond of faux stitching. Maybe because i`m not so good at it, hahaha. It allways looks so weird on my cards.

Our sponsor this week is Letraset.

For my card today i have used an image by Hannah Lynn called Teya. She is available here. And she is coloured with ProMarkers.

The colours i have used are:

Skin:
Vanilla, Saffron, Oatmeal, Tan, Sunkissed pink

Hair:
Cocoa, Mustard, Pastel yellow, Buttercup, Sunflower

Other colours used:
True blue, Sky blue, Arctic blue, Pear green, Berry red, Burgundy.

That`s it from me. Please hop on over to Crafts and Me Challenges and join in on the fun. Thanks for visiting me.
